Chapter 117 :  Guru Vandana

The principal from South Canara continued to explain Guru’s mahima he had experienced.

“Sir, till about 2007-08, I was working as a principal in the same institution, during this time a student came along with his father for college admission”. I heard them to be from Sakharaya Patna so I invited them to my chamber. I always used to insist that admission process was to take place in the office but made an exception for them and finished the admission formalities in my chamber, the simple reason being.. the very name Sakharaya Patna radiates so much energy.

While the formalities were being completed, I requested the boy to talk about Sakharaya Patna. He started off by recounting his and his father’s experiences with Gurunatha. He also said Gurunatha himself told me “You join this institute in South Canara; the Principal there is one of ours. You can tell him that l have sent you”. I was very happy about the affection Gurunatha had shown towards us. I always considered the boy to be one of us as he was representing Sakharaya Patna.

I could see an Adhyathmic energy in him also. The boy used to be very interested in meeting saints and seers and sometimes his attendance in the college suffered because of this. In one instance I had called a professor and told him “This boy is in God’s service, please do not prevent him taking exams just on the grounds of poor attendance.” I made sure he was allowed to the write exams.

Today that student has become an engineer. He has made good strides in the path shown by Gurunatha. He is recognised for his simplicity and good conduct.

This probably was a very small thanks giving from my side to Gurunatha, he proudly aid.
